What to look for in an answer:
You are looking for two things. Firstly, you are looking to see how good are the ideas that the interviewee came up with. Creative and logical ideas will do well here. Secondly, you are looking to see if the candidate researched your company or is interested in your company enough to know a lot about it. The ideas need to fit with what your company could do given its present situation. The ideas should not be generic, or ignore the wider market, company culture, and company capability/capacity.
Red Flags to Watch For:
The interviewee knowing or understanding little about the company is a red flag, as it shows that they may not have researched your company or are not actually interested in your company.
